Our GRP Mandrel is manufactured with a steel core and Composite overwrap. The surface of the mandrel is built layer by layer by using CSM (Chopped Stand Mat), WRM (Woven Roving Mat) and filament winded with direct roving as a polyester resin composite. After curing, the FRP overwrap is machined with suitable taper and ground to polished finish for easy extraction. Our mandrels are used for making Fiberglass filament wound [GRP] pipes, as per AWWA C-950, BIS 14402 and BIS 12709 standards. We also make mandrels for GRP pipe couplers and as per customer requirement.
